Mr. Abdul Hafeez

Abdul Hafeez is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan, with post-qualification experience of 23 years in management of Finance, Operations, Corporate Affairs, Taxation, Audit/Inspection, Treasury and allied fields, gained by participating as a key member of management teams throughout his career while setting strategic directions of those institutions. He started his career with EY Ford Rhodes, after which he spent two years at Industrial Development Bank of Pakistan(I.D.B.P.) where he successfully restructured the company's Balance Sheet to facilitate new equity injection before moving on to Pak Oman Group for three years and then on to serving as a key member of the team responsible for the establishment of Pak Oman Microfinance Bank(P.O.M.f.B.). Abdul Hafeez last served for over 14 years at Pak Brunei Investment Co. before joining Export-Import Bank of Pakistan in November, 2021. He is currently charged as the Group Head – Finance, with an additional charge of Head of Operations. Abdul Hafeez has been a key contributor in developing EXIM’s strategic direction, executing the transition of the Export Re-Finance Scheme from SBP to EXIM, aligning IMF’s S.B.A. conditions and has represented the bank in meetings with Stakeholders, Shareholders and at multiple private and Govt. forums.
